Forming part of our new #SoGlosDiscovery promotional campaign, it gives us enormous pleasure to unveil a series of 10 limited edition SoGlos mugs.
Featuring the work of talented Cheltenham illustrator, Tim Martin, who first came to our attention through his large-scale public illustration works of Gloucester City Centre, as well as graffiti murals as part of this year’s Cheltenham Paint Festival.
Bringing local buildings and landmarks to life in all sorts of fun and interesting ways, Tim was as excited as we were about the project. After we identified 10 iconic landmarks from across Gloucestershire, he set about carefully hand-drawing each one in his unique style – with the illustrations then digitised and incorporated into striking mug designs by incredibly talented designer James Denley-Dufton.
The landmarks captured on the mugs – produced especially for us by a leading UK manufacturer – include Gloucester Cathedral, Gloucester Docks, Pittville Pump Room, the Everyman Theatre, Cheltenham Ladies’ College, the Forest of Dean Sculpture Trail, Tewkesbury Abbey, Slimbridge Wetland Centre, Arlington Row and Sudeley Castle.
The new collectible mugs won’t be available for sale, but will be given to clients as gifts by our Advertising Hub team – James, Terri, Genna and Sophie – over the coming months. Plus, lookout for reader giveaways announced on SoGlos’s social media channels soon.
