Now in their third year, the SoGlos Gloucestershire Lifestyle Awards have truly cemented their position as the county’s definitive awards, with a record 505 nominations flooding in by the closing date.
Sponsored by Willans LLP solicitors in 2020, the awards – known as SGGLA – were created in 2018 to recognise and celebrate the very best lifestyle sector businesses in Gloucestershire, from restaurants, hotels, day out venues and independent schools, to wedding venues, health and fitness businesses, events and charities.
Since nominations closed the SoGlos team have been busy deciding on the final shortlist of just over 200 entries, which will be announced on Monday 9 March 2020 via soglos.com/awards – when voting will also open to members of the public until the end of April.
Shortlisted businesses will be invited to the anticipated SGGLA 2020 awards evening at Cheltenham Ladies’ College on Thursday 28 May 2020, when the winners across the 23 categories will be revealed live.
‘SGGLA 2020 has already got off to an amazing start, and we’re excited to see who takes home coveted awards this year. Thanks to our headline sponsor, Willans LLP; our venue partner, Cheltenham Ladies’ College; event partner, Oasis Events; drinks partners, Hillside Brewery and Cotswold Distillery; food partner, Bar & Fred; and all of our category sponsors for making the awards possible. Good luck to all the businesses shortlisted this year!’ said James Fyrne, SoGlos co-founder.
