With a host of great local charities having put themselves forward for SoGlos’s annual charity of the year scheme, making a final decision was no mean feat for the team here at SoPublishing.

But we’re delighted to announce Cheltenham Animal Shelter won the team vote, with SoGlos’s programme of complimentary support set to kick off this month.

Cheltenham Animal Shelter is a charity which has been helping animals since 1936, rescuing and rehoming unwanted and abandoned stray cats, dogs and small animals from across the county.

It relies on the support of members of the public to help look after around 1,000 animals which pass through its doors each year, with running costs of £500,000 to sustain its valuable work.
