The judges were impressed by SoGlos's 2012 relaunch, ongoing commitment to high quality journalism and extensive social media integration – winning the online magazine a highly commended accolade – with the overall winner title going to the Bristol Post's website.
While SoGlos was the only Gloucestershire website to be shortlisted, local newspaper the Gloucestershire Echo scooped 'Front Page of the Year' for its memorable 'Street rocked by blast' cover.
